Hatta Dam Road Trip: An Unplanned Birthday Adventure in the UAE

Saturday, December 5, 2020

It's that time of the year again when we get a few extra non-working days to enjoy. And as if that's not enough reason to celebrate, it's also my husband's birthday! 🎉

Another year, another place to visit.

And this time?

Hatta Dam ang napili naming destination. 😂

Actually, wala naman talaga kaming plano. As usual.

"Saan tayo pupunta?"

"Ewan. Basta mag-drive tayo."

At ayun na nga...

Road trip mode activated! 🚗💨

First Stop: Hatta Dam

The combination of the turquoise waters, rocky mountains, and fresh air made the drive completely worth it.

Here are a video from our visit.

A Quick Stop at Hatta Heritage Village

Habang papunta kami sa Hatta Dam, may nadaanan kaming isang maliit na old village.

At syempre, hindi pwedeng dedmahin iyon. 😄

So after our visit to the dam, dumiretso kami sa Hatta Heritage Village.

Final Thoughts

From our place, almost two hours ang biyahe papuntang Hatta.

The mountain views, the scenic drive, and the chance to spend another birthday adventure together made the trip memorable.

For now, masasabi kong sulit na sulit ang aming spontaneous birthday road trip to Hatta. ❤️
